Metamora Indiana Canal Days Festival

39th Annual Canal Days Oct 5-6-7 2007
Get out your walking shoes and you huge vinyl bag because on Oct, 5-6-7 from around 8:am till 6:00 pm you'll want to attend one of Indiana's most popular festival.  Thousands of people flock to Metamora during Canal Days year after year.  Along with over 70 shops and eateries found in Metamora you'll see hundreds of outside vendors and artist selling antiques, crafts, collectibles and flea market merchandise.
Even though there are hundreds of vendors you'll still want to take the time to enter the shops and eateries.  Many shop have specials just for canal days.
During Canal Days you won't be able to park within the town.  All parking areas will be covered with vendor tents.  Parking is available across Hwy 52 and past Duck Creek Crossing.
 

Enjoy wondering around looking at all the unique merchandise available and enjoy the special festival eats and treat.

Canal Days originated 38 years ago in the autumn of the year following the harvest, framers and traders gathered in towns to sell and trade the fruits of their labor.  Today, this tradition continues with Canal Days.

Most shops and attractions open May thorough December. A few shops are open January through April.  Hour of business vary from business to business.  Some shops are open Tuesday and Wednesday. Most shops are open Thursday - Sunday 10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.
