Christmas Walk

The Christmas Walk is always the weekend of Thanksgiving and the following three weekends.

The holiday spirit is irresistible in Metamora, Indiana! Each year Metamora is transformed into a winter wonderland. The many festivities and unique shopping in this old fashioned town are a part of a Christmas tradition that residents and visitors alike look forward to year after year.

Stroll the streets of historic Metamora and delight in the old fashioned Christmas Charm.  Warm up by the fire at the Grist Mill while enjoying a cup of hot coffee or hot cider from the "Smelly Gourmet.

Get in the Christmas spirit as you walk the pathways of our historic village dressed in style for the holidays. Thousands of twinkling lights adorn the shops for the season. Lanterns line the canal from the mill to the aqueduct and holiday greenery and decorations abound throughout the town.

Take in the view of the town with a Horse Drawn Carriage Ride. Don't forget to stop in and visit with Santa Claus and get your picture taken. Santa is in his house on Friday and Saturday from 5 to 9:00 p.m..

Take your packages to the Post Office to have them delivered.  For your convenience, the Post Office will have extended hours during Christmas Walk.
