and scenic beauty. At historic Metamora you'll escape to the past and experience what it was like in the 1800's. Visit the gristmill and pick up a bag of their freshly stone-ground cornmeal or flour. Take a ride in the canal boat through the only existing wooden aqueduct in the United States. Board the train for a short trip on the Whitewater Railroad. Take in the lush scenery of the Whitewater River Valley on the 2.6 mile rustic hiking & biking trail along the historic Whitewater Canal. You won't find another place anywhere, that has what can be found in Metamora! |
